Jack Scalfani makes classic chicken noodle soup. Make sure to subscribe. it's free. This is actually the recipe that Jack did: * 16 cups canned low-salt chicken broth * 1 3 1/2-pound chicken, reduce 8 pieces * 1/2 cup chopped onion * 2 celery, peeled, very finely sliced * 2 celery stalks, sliced * 16 oz . dried wide egg noodles * 1/2 cup carefully chopped fresh parsley Mix chicken broth and chicken in heavy large pot. Provide boil. Reduce warmth cover partly and simmer until chicken is cooked through, about twenty minutes. Using tongs, transfer chicken to large bowl. Awesome chicken and broth slightly. Discard skin and bones from chicken. Cut chicken meat into bite-size pieces and reserve. Spoon body fat off surface of chicken broth. Return broth to simmer. Add onion, celery and celery. Simmer until veggies soften, 8 minutes. (Could be prepared one day ahead. Cover chicken meat and broth individually and refrigerate. Bring broth to boil before ongoing.) Prepare your noodles individually (extremely important), about a few minutes. Season soup to taste with pepper and salt.Recipes
